The Cary Blanketeers meet on the first and third Wednesdays each month. Our next meetings
will be held on FEB 1 and 15 at
the Gathering Place Coffee Shop at Hope Community Church, 821 Buck Jones Road, Raleigh.
Bring your own project or learn to make a new one.
Experienced crafters mentor beginners and everyone is welcome. Whether your blanket is knitted, crocheted or quilted--the
only requirement is that it must be handmade--with love.
Blankets will be donated to Project Linus for distribution at
local hospitals, shelters, and crisis groups. In the Triangle alone, Project Linus has delivered more than 20,000
blankets to groups and agencies including Wake Med, Duke, Interact, Make A Wish, Hospice, Raleigh Rescue Mission and Children's
Flight of Hope.
